Girls in Wonderland

Wednesday, March 16, 2011
Gaaah! Talk about a hepatic couple weeks! Last week, all week, I had the flu it was horrible! Of course the entire time I was sick it was sunny, taunting me to go outside but as soon as I felt well again and went to school it was cloudy again. ;__; I want Vitamin D too sun! D: The weathers turning up though, the plum trees are blossoming and it's so pretty! I wish I owned a camera so bad... Oh well. It's recently gotten up to 10 C :D I'm so happy I don't have to carry a jacket with me everywhere in school now!
My clubs also doing pretty well, we got a few more members I think and we did a thing for Japan today and raised all of 8 dollars, which is a lot considering it was last minute and the Peer Helping class already went around collecting donations during second period.
On another note I've become obsessed with the anime K-ON! again, I was obsessed with it last year around this time too. I love it, it's about a high school club which is a band and their crazyness, it reminds me a lot of my friends and I, me being Mio the shy one who likes to get work done :P It made me wanna learn Bass, if I had an extra $200 laying around I'd totally buy one, I have an acoustic guitar that I dunno how to play and has 3 broken strings from my brother. Maybe one day, I already donated all my money to Japan so...
If you watch anime, has it ever made you want to go out and do something like buy/learn to play Bass?

Pray for Japan

Friday, March 11, 2011
I'm sure you've all heard of the disaster that's struck Japan, an earthquake, a tsunami, and nucular plants over-heating. I don't want to say much about it but please everyone send your thoughts out to Japan in their time of need. They really need it, villages were swept away completely and cities were destroyed. I love Japan and it tears me apart to see them suffering like this.
I really liked this photo, although I don't mean this in a religious way at all!

Beauty is possible in everything.

Tuesday, January 11, 2011
I live by the statement of this title, I really do believe that there is beauty or potential beauty in every single thing, and I try to see the beauty inside everything no matter what.
Like, even though I really don't like snow that much I do love the fact that it embraces the ground really beautifully covering it in sparkling white (:
Which brings me to today! Today I had plans to go out with Neve and get some sushi, and when we got out of the school we were surprised, and sad, to find that it was snowing! Gladly, we didn't have to walk to Sidney. Instead we went to Neve's house (Meeting up with Bryanne) and she got her skateboard and changed her coat to a warmer one.
It was amazing though because Neve and Bryanne are gonna fake date to make people stop asking Neve out it was SOOOO CUTEEEE!!! She even like legit asked her out and AWHHH I loved it XD Later I found out Neves actual feelings which made me all OMG YESSSS even more so x3 (I really love forbidden love if you couldn't tell.)
We bid Bryanne farewell at the bus stop and while waiting for the bus I taught Neve a little Japanese... she said it with a Spanish accent it was sooo funny XD
When we finally got to Sidney we went to a thrift store where she took the LAST and BEST sweatervest ever for her friend and then got 2 pairs of cheap shoes that are simply AMAZING! Gosh I wish I didn't have big feet so I could get awesome shoes. (Plastic surgery maybe?)
The lady there told us about the new sushi place just a block away and so we HAD to check it out and I was impressed! Upon walking in the lady told us to sit down and gave us some free tea! We ordered the avacado rolls and a bowl of rice. It was SOOOO GOOOOOOODDDD!! We made that place our new hang out, and she wants to go there every week. I'm pretty sure that wont happen because we're both jobless. XD
We then went to safeway, got some serial, then to the bus stop where we met this amazing lady who used to have blue hair and a cheek pircing and oh my gosh she was amazing. She lets her kids skip every so often as skipping school IS healthy for you and she lives on a boat and longboards and stuff, she was really cool.
When I got home my FB husband Codys doctor texted me and told me he was okay and he was gonna be just fine and stuff, and I was SOOO happy, I was worried all day long but when I heard that I was really glad. He then gave Cody his phone and he texted me and asked me out like usual, but unlike usual he proceded to tell me how much he loved me and stuff and how much he wanted to date me. And as usual I said no as he doesn't live near me, but this time he didn't give up. He said he wanted to marry me and a ton of stuff so...
I finally kinda gave in! I told him when he visits me I'll go on a date with him, wearing a dress and all, and if that goes well and we click I will date him even when he would go back home. It's my first date ever guys so I'm freaking out, but Neves gonna go shoe shopping with me and stuff so I'm really excited at the same time.
AMAZING DAY.
Completely off topic, but I love her boots and stockings ♥

Don't look back

2010... was a dramatic year to say the least. It started out with me going back to school recovering from being hit by a car and discovering that nothing was really the same as I left it, but slowly this all changed.

  • I learned who my real friends were
  • I became more fashion/hair/makeup loving (girly I guess?)
  • Started to become more selfless
  • Cared about my grades
  • Fell in love who Korea and Japan
  • Strived towards the future
  • Helped people see that life's worth living
  • Became an optimist rather than a pessimist
  • Found out what I like and what I don't like
  • And most important: Stayed self-harm free for ALL of 2010 :D
By the end of 2010 I've learned so much and have been thankful for everything, to me it was really a year of change. :D

Koizora = sadest drama I've ever watched ;__; Cried so hard I got a headache! I'd totally watch it again but... not a fan of crying that hard :P

fly high dream big.

I was researching what it takes to become a resident of Japan and this is what it said: "Foreign residents who have shown good conduct and have sufficient assets or ability to make an independent living, can be granted permanent residence if they reside in Japan for typically ten or more consecutive years (less in case of spouses of Japanese nationals and people who have made significant contributions to Japanese society). Permanent residence status is indefinite and allows any paid activity."
I'll be like... 35 or something before I'll be considered a permanent resident, and it takes 5 more years after that unless I get married to a citizen for me to be considered a citizen o__o"
That's a lot longer than I thought, better learn Japanese quickly and get enough money in order to make a living before I get a job fast ;__;

RAINBOW BRIDGE :D
I have to see that when I go to Tokyo *__*

we're on fire.

Tyler came over today and helped me set up Rosetta Stone (illegally I may add :P) and it is amazing.

If you don't know what Rosetta Stone is, it's a program that teaches languages through association with images, intuition, context, ect. There is no English involved in the learning so it's much like how you learned to speak your native language when you were but a baby!
I only just started and so I don't know much but I do know "Onnanokotachi wa mizu nonde imasen" Which means "The girl and her friends are not drinking water." I can say the same thing for the adults and males and can substitute water for a few other things like coffee and rice and such, but I may or may not forget in the morning, it needs to be repeated a few times for me to get it. xD

Also, I took my brothers ipod USB cord like 3 days ago, and he still hasn't noticed O_o Mine broke so... ;__; don't have an extra $50 CAN to spend replacing the USB until I get a job - which requires me to get off my lazy bum!

just music and you.

(Thanks Vivian for getting me obsessed with Don't Stop the Music by the way <__<)

Anyway, I got my new laptop :D When I started going on all my regular sites I was all "Oh my gosh. NO LAG EXISTS!!!!" my old laptop happened to lag all the time LOL. This one obviously doesn't, and the keyboard works which for me is amazing xD
I have to take my laptop in though to complete Windows 7 set up, seriously shouldn't it come with a complete version instead of an incomplete version which you then have to pay another $100 CAN to complete it? It seems kinda redundant to me o__o"

I WANNA MOVE TO TOKYO T__T Tyler wants to move to Seoul, I'm gonna lose like all my pals when I grad xD
That's beautiful to me. . . ;__;

keep walking proud

I was invited to this City Youth thing which is a Youth Group in Victoria (I'm not religious, just spiritual (: ) and my moms letting me go! I love my mom, she's really nice and I really respect her. Even though we have our creative differences and views of somethings, I still love her and am glad I have her as a mother. :) I plan to buy her so many things when I'm in Japan!
Also, I'm getting my new laptop in the next couple weeks and then giving this one to my friend Kory who is amazing with computers, and he's going to fix the keyboard and make it run fast again like it was new and I'm gonna give it to my mom ^__^
What are you guys going to give your mothers for Christmas?

Snow, please leave.

Tuesday, November 23, 2010
It snowed on Friday night here, and everyone seemed to go crazy about it, except for me. I personally don't like snow because I happen to be a huge clutz! I always slip and fall, or get nailed in the face by flying snow, or the wind pushes me into walls. I'm more of a fan of warm-ish weather.
Although, what comes with winter is new cold-weather gear! I was able to get some boots, a scarf, a jacket, and some skinny jeans. I still have $10 dollars left-over too. Shopping is always fun, even when alone. (None of my friends could go with me. Not really that surprising.)
Even though I got all this new gear, on Monday it didn't make that mush of a difference. After school I was waiting for the bus like normal although 2 didn't bother showing up, then a short one showed up and it filled up fast, then a 1 floor bus showed up which also filled up fast, and then finally after that a normal double Decker bus arrived and we gladly embraced the warmth that was inside. I really hope that doesn't happen after school today.
On the bright side my friend Moe reminded me of the greatness that is YUI. why did I ever stop listening to her?! O_O

I love this picture LAWL

She's amazing. I also wanna watch that movie she stars in, considering I love JDrama.
Other than that all I've really done is dissect a pig fetus... which isn't that appealing when you're trying to eat lunch.

Broken keyboards aren't cool

Wednesday, November 17, 2010
On Saturday I was going to come home, and write a nice blog about how much fun I had with Neve after I did some things, but when I came back to my laptop what do I find? My USB keyboard had broken! By broken I don't mean it was smashed into hundreds of pieces, by broken I mean it had just stopped working. I've had experience with keyboards that just stop working as this was the third to pass on to keyboard heaven. My laptops keyboard broke when that winter it had snowed and my brother was excited, so he comes in my room with a snow ball, throws it at me, I dodge, it hits my laptop. Bye bye keyboard!~
So, I guess that's not going to happen. I may have to resort to making vlogs as substitutes to get things off my mind. I'm not really a vlog person, so we'll see how that goes.
Although, for Christmas I might get a new laptop that wont die within a few months (this one's lasted me like 3 or 4 years, but it malfunctioned within the first month) and then I can finally do all the things I love again and maybe even play games on it!
The only reason I'm able to make this post is because I'm at school and their keyboards aren't broken.
In other news, I have a new life dream! It's tied into my other one though so it's not like changing from wanting to be a doctor to wanting to be a game designer.
I love Japan and so I wanted to work there as a translator when I learned the language really well, but now I have a new love: Korea. Their music is spectacular (Super Junior, SHINee, 2NE1 ♥♥♥) and so are a lot of other aspects. I don't love it as much as Japan, but I did find one thing out: the language is easy to learn! So my new dream is to become fluent in Japanese and Korean and then become a translator for Sony, and make lots of money, get an estate in Japan, and have all my friends visit. That's my new life dream, and I'm already working towards it at the age of 16! Right now I can speak a very little amount of Japanese and am learning to read and write in Korean, even though I can only say Annyong haseyo :3 Oh well, at least I'm on my way!
So far my plan is: Graduate, work for a year, go to Japan for a couple weeks off the money I get from the government/ the money I earned while working, then go to college and become fluent in Korean/Japanese, and finally begin to pursue for the career!
It's going to be a lot of work, but I think if I really try this time I can accomplish something good here.
Sorry for the lack of pictures in this post, like I said above I am at school- and the computers here are malfunctioning, so I don't really feel like going on a wild picture hunt.
